Who is responsible
MileBetter is operated by Urbano DX in Poland. Urbano DX is the controller for personal data used to provide MileBetter. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
This notice covers the public website at milebetter.com and the application at app.milebetter.com.
What we collect
When you sign in, we receive your Google account identifier, email address, and basic profile information through Firebase Authentication. Inside the app, you may provide your name, city, driver type, working days, goals, vehicle costs, daily takings, expenses, hours, trip counts, notes, screenshots, and messages to the AI manager.
If you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment details. MileBetter stores Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan status, and renewal timing, but does not store full card details.
Our servers also receive ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages, timestamps, and error diagnostics.
Why we use it
We use account and driving data to provide the dashboard, forecasts, demand calendar, coaching, billing, security, support, and service reliability. The main legal basis is performance of the service you request. Security, fraud prevention, product reliability, and limited service measurement rely on our legitimate interests. Billing records may also be retained to meet legal obligations.
We do not sell personal data and we do not use your driving records for third-party advertising.
AI features
Voice notes, screenshots, logged results, and chat messages may be sent through Urbano DX's controlled AI gateway to model providers when an AI feature needs them. We send only the information needed for the requested task. If the AI service is unavailable, many features use a local deterministic fallback.
Forecasts, demand signals, and coaching are informational tools. They do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Who processes data
We use Google Firebase for authentication, Stripe for subscriptions and payment management, Cloudflare for network delivery and protection, infrastructure providers for hosting, and AI model providers for requested AI features. Error reporting is hosted by Urbano DX.
Some providers may process data outside your country. Where data protection law requires it, those transfers rely on an adequacy decision or contractual safeguards provided by the relevant processor.
Storage and retention
Account and driving records are kept while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service. Billing and transaction records may be kept longer when required for accounting, tax, dispute, or fraud-prevention purposes. Operational backups and logs are deleted or overwritten on their normal security and recovery cycles.
The public marketing site does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. The app uses browser storage and a service worker for sign-in persistence and installable-app behaviour.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of your personal data. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. In Poland, the supervisory authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
Send a request to [email protected] from the email attached to your MileBetter account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.
